We have around 20 sites around the country that I log onto, using the same method, at any time (using RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000 or Studio 5000) without issue. I've had this same thing happen on a local site (within driving distance), traveled up there and was able to connect directly, but not remotely. I cannot connect to the PLC for ONLINE editingĬhecking "Who Active" indicates the IP address has been found but When trying to connect, I get the message "DiagnosticStatus failed 0x4" I've had the tech check the mode and it's set to remote I can get on the PLC's internal web server I've verified port forwarding configuration in the modem/router I have a tech on site (he does not have RSLogix 500) Here's what's happening:I have the correct WAN address I have an installation, MicroLogix 1400, on the right coast (I'm on the left) where I'm trying to log onto the PLC using remote access over cellular (using a modem/router).
